The tastings are over and we have already seen seen the first release of Château Lafite to the negociants . We have a dedicated website this year for all news and releases and if you would like to be added to our Specific En Primeur emails then please let us know either by return of email or just call us. The vintage is variable and some good wines have been made and the best Château have made excellent wines however the vintage is only worth buying if the prices are right. We have many of the 09's and 10's which in many cases are still offering value over the 11's whatever the prices are.
One point of interest is the lack of rainfall over the past three summers which if it continues this year there may not be much wine made this year. (Château Palmer has had the lowest yield since 1961 in 2011.)
We have “The Frazier's Crib Sheet” this year which in a simple sheet lists our favourites and if they are are offered at the right prices we will offer them on. The crib sheet has listed the right bank wines first as these were the most enjoyable of the vintage.
